Scenic Flight East and Central Switzerland
These pictures where made during a scenig flight on 31 may 2003, right after a partial solar eclipse. Flight course with a Robin 400/140 of Moonlight Air starting at airfield Triengen was: Gotthard, Grisons, Rhine valley, Lake Walen, Lake Zurich, Einsiedeln, Mythen, Rigi, Luzern, Pilatus, Triengen. The pictures are not very sharp and sometimes have reflections because I had to shoot through the plexi glass window. Saturday, May 31, 2003, 33 photos.

Weisshorn: Mount Weisshorn nearby Arosa. In the year 2001 there was held an astronomy week in Arosa. Many hobby astronomers took their telescope onto the Swisscom platform on the left hand side. I took my heavy 30cm f/4 Newtonian with me. Laui at Quinten: A little bit west of Quinten towards Weesen lies a group of houses called Laui. The prominent house in the foreground is the Kublihaus. It was taken over in the year 1808 by Johann Melchior Kubli. He was born in 1750 in Netstal/GL and was 1782 transcript writer in the process against Anna Göldi, the last executed which in Europe.
