The Lake Marmorera lies after the small village Sur on the way to the Julier Pass to the Engadin. If the water is very clear it is wonderful for diving. There are shallow slopes and remnants of the old bridge and walls from the creek fixations. On the bottom at the lower end there are the remnants of the sunken village Marmorera, but the buildings have been destroyed and there are only the foundation walls left. Fishes are very rare and can mostly be found at the mouth of the creek on the upper end. June 2006 to November 2006, 9 photos.
